Course Selection & Scheduling

Course Selection & Scheduling

Choosing courses is a chance for students to build a school experience that reflects their interests, strengths, and future goals. There is no single perfect schedule, and students don’t have to make these decisions alone. Counselors, teachers, and families can work together to create a plan that feels both challenging and manageable.

Teacher recommendations help students select courses that match their preparation while providing an appropriate level of academic challenge.

A Course Override Form is required ONLY when a student wants to take a more advanced course than the course recommended by the teacher. Students requesting a lateral change or a less advanced course should discuss the request directly with their counselor during your 1:1 meeting.
