Grade point averages are calculated on a 4.0 basis by using the semester grades for all subjects taken once a student has enrolled at WKHS. AP, IB, and CC+ classes are weighted on a scale of 1.25 when calculating the grade point average. All core classes are part of a college preparatory program. The lowest passing grade is a 60% or “D-”. Some courses may be taken pass/ fail. When the pass/ fail option is elected, the courses are not included in the GPA. Grades of courses taken for high school credit while in middle school are not computed in a student’s GPA.
